Shabby Chic Birthday Card with Tracey Sabella

Hello dear Scrap & Craft friends. It's Tracey here to share my first design team project with you, a shabby chic birthday card featuring The Peony Avenue Collection by Studio75 along with a sweet cherry blossom flower and pearl stamens from the store.

Tips and Techniques
I fussy cut the leaves from the image page included in The Peony Avenue Paper Pack.  To create the stamen cluster, several of the stamen pieces are folded in half and glued together. The sweet Cherry Blossom is dry brushed with white gesso and set into a rhinestone circle pin I had in my stash.

I ran a line of Bambino Glue down the center of the butterfly and sprinkled with prills to form a dimensional body for this chipboard butterfly.

The edges of the focal paper are distressed and lightly inked.
